Lynn Yew Evers

Lynn Yew Evers is a composer and concert pianist, of Malaysian origin and based in the United States. She is best known for her album ''Dawn of Peace'' which made a debut at #2 on the Zone Music Reporter (formerly New Age Reporter or NAR) Top 100 Radio Airplay Chart. Evers has also been nominated for Best New Artist by Zone Music Reporter and twice for Best Solo Piano album at the Enlightened Piano Radio (EPR) Awards, in 2014 for her debut album ''The Falling Leaves''〔 and again in 2015 for her second album ''Dawn of Peace''
==Early Life==

Lynn Yew Evers was born and raised in Malaysia. She started playing the piano at the age of 4 when she was given a toy piano. Soon after, her mother found an old piano and arranged for Evers to take formal lessons with a piano teacher. She went on to take lessons for 16 years all the way through her college years. She started composing her own music when she was 9 years old. Her first composition was titled "Two Little Black Birds" based on a poem she learnt in school. Evers also played the flute during her high school days. She has a younger sister who is is also a pianist and an older brother who plays the violin.
